130:1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to you, O Yahweh.
130:2 Lord, hear my voice: Let your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. 130:3 If you, Yah, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? 130:4 But there is forgiveness with you, That you may be feared. 130:5 I wait for Yahweh, my soul waits, And I hope in his word. 130:6 My soul [waits] for the Lord More than watchmen [wait] for the morning; [Yes, more than] watchmen for the morning. 130:7 O Israel, hope in Yahweh; For with Yahweh there is loving-kindness, And with him is plenteous redemption. 130:8 And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities. |
